Whole Athlete p/b DNA Team Membership

Being a member of the Whole Athlete Cycling Team means much more than just racing your bike. There is a high level of commitment from each of the athletes that includes various team responsibilities. In addition to dedication to being the best athlete you can be, team members participate in clinics, team events and camps, as well as perform community service activities such as trail building and maintenance days, and working volunteer non-profit fundraising events.

If you would like to be considered for the program, please send us the following documents:

  • Current race re'sume'.
  • A letter describing why you would like to be a part of the Whole Athlete Development Program and how the team would benefit from your addition.
  • A letter of recommendation (from coaches, teachers, or peers).

Requirements Junior MTB Team

  • Racing ages 15-18 in 2018
  • Excellent attitude
  • Cat 1 XC racing experience with strong results (ages 15-17), and/ or:
  • NICA high school racing experience or similar, with podium-level results
  • Good bike handling skills
