Marvin Zauderer
Associate Coach & Mental Training Expert

Marvin
is a USA Cycling Level II Coach and Masters road racer. He frequently
leads Group Riding Skills clinics for the Marin Cyclists road club.
Marvin
came to cycling later in life, and so has particular sensitivity
toward athletes who are new to pursuing fitness, social, or competitive
goals with their cycling. In his approach to coaching, Marvin attends
closely to athletes' goals, strengths, and areas for development.
He combines a focus on the training program with attention to the
other activities -- physical, psychological, or spiritual -- that
cyclists choose to support their training goals. And, he has a keen
sense of how to have fun with cycling. Marvin enjoys working with
cyclists on either heart rate- or power-based training.
He
is also a licensed psychotherapist, with sport psychology as one
of his areas of focus, and maintains a private psychotherapy and
consulting practice in Marin County, Berkeley, and San Francisco.
He lives in Marin and is married with three children.
